Walking & Cycling: The Pevensey Levels are a large grazing marsh and home to many species of wetland bird. The Levels are designated a SSSI and a Ramsar Site, and offer tremendous opportunities for walkers and bird watchers. There are a number of lanes and tracks which cross the Levels which offer safe and quiet walking and cycling.

We are just a third of a mile from the Cuckoo Trail, a disused railway line which has been converted by Sustrans to provide safe and secure off road cycling and walking between Polegate and Heathfield.

This forms part of the Greenwich to Paris cycleway (via Newhaven and the Avenue Verte).

An extension of the Cuckoo Trail runs offroad from Polegate to Eastbourne seafront making a safe 9 mile ride from Little Marshfoot.

This 4 Star, self-contained accommodation has been recently constructed in the gardens of a former farmhouse.

Its interesting design embodies a range of 'green' or environmentally friendly features, yet provides the highest degree of convenience and comfort.

Sleeping four, it comprises one double bedded and one twin bedded room, each with a separate en-suite shower room.

A radio, colour TV, DVD or Video player and hairdryer are provided in each bedroom.

The living room/diner is furnished to a high standard and contains a fridge freezer, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, washer/drier and a dishwasher.

The building is fully double glazed and centrally heated, with heated towel rails in the shower rooms.

All towels, bedding and other linen is supplied.

An unusual feature of the building is the ‘loggia’ which provides additional outdoor living space throughout the year.

All electricity and heating costs are included in the rental charge, as is the Broadband Internet connection.

The building is strictly No Smoking

There is off road parking at the site and plenty of secure storage facilities for wet clothes, muddy boots, and cycles.
